The Vintage ProShop Unique V6PU0005, Die Brke 61, is a unique instrument, built by the UK ProShop team and showcasing their talents to the full, which also features the work of German pickup maestro Andreas Kloppmann. Die Brke 61 celebrates one of the most iconic and recognisable guitar players in the world, the incomparable Thomas Blug, and is an homage to his equally incomparable, magic, white 61.

Die Bruke 61 features

Body:
Refinished American alder body in Vintage White, with custom aged patina, distressing and the unique wear and discoloration patterns associated with decades of playing.

Vibrato:
The Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge featured on Die Bruke 61 is a masterpiece of detail. Positive location, 6 screw design, ( only five used here though!), provides return to pitch accuracy. Perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and snap. Ground base plate corner provides authentic looks. Stagger drilled steel block significantly enhances return to pitch accuracy and classic vintage tone. The push-in Delrin-bushed arm with variable tension provides the arm height and feel that suits your style.

Pickups:
A balanced set of Kloppmann Thomas Blug ST II pickups, fitted to a shielded pickguard, with full coverage aluminium underplate, fine-tuned to provide the typical true vintage neck and bridge pickup tone which harmonises perfectly with a beautifully mild middle pickup, to produce fantastically pearly tones in position 2 and 4.

Controls:
Kloppmann DC KIT wiring loom, with master Volume control, and treble bleed cap, reversed position tone controls for neck pickup and middle pickup, with bridge pickup wired traditionally , no tone control. The neck tone control features the Bukka control, on a push/push switch pot, which engages a dummy out of phase coil, serially mixed with regular pickup signal, reducing noise, producing a smoother and more stable tone, particularly in hi-gain sounds, where it can function also as a filter, enhancing the range of tones available.

Machine heads:
Wilkinson WJ55 patented E-Z-Lok tuners. Simple, effective locking action for increased tuning stability. Staggered string post heights provide correct string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.

Neck:
Hard rock Maple with custom profiling and distressing to emulate the unique wear and discolouration patterns created during years of super expressive playing.

Fingerboard:
Period authentic 7 1/4″ radius Rosewood fingerboard provides positive feel and superior playability.

Frets:
21 Medium profile frets for increased comfort, accuracy, and overall positive feel.

Scale Length:
25.5″ / 648mm.

Nut:
43mm GraphTech nut, facilitates smooth string bending and friction-free vibrato use.

Headstock:
Classic Vintage headstock design for balance and visual appeal.
