The tuned 45g rubber dome delivers a slightly tactile yet buttery-smooth feel, while the housing is fully compatible with electro-capacitive (EC) keyboards running a conical spring a genuine industry first. Before installation, inspect the plastic alignment pegs for any damage, make sure the magnet is firmly seated inside the stem, and confirm the housing is undistorted. Because the Whisper combines a rubber dome with a conical spring, opening or modifying the switch is not recommended doing so can affect magnetic flux consistency and actuation accuracy. Store unused switches in the original clamshell tray to protect magnet alignment and keep the housings dust-free.
